2026 Birth Year Registration Incentive Now Available

The Irish Draught Horse Society of North America is pleased to offer the 2026 Birth Year Registration Incentive, providing reduced registration fees for eligible foals born in 2026.

Owners who submit complete and correct registration applications by November 15, 2026, may take advantage of the following reduced rates (plus $60.00 DNA fee):

• Member Registration Fee: $100

• Non-Member Registration Fee: $150

The incentive is designed to encourage timely registration while helping owners establish their horses' permanent place within the breed registry at a reduced cost.

While November may seem a long way off, registering early offers several advantages.

Gathering required documentation, photographs, ownership information, and any necessary DNA requirements is often easier when begun well before the deadline. Early submission also provides time to address any questions or missing information that may arise during the review process.

Accurate and complete registry records are essential to preserving the history and integrity of both the Irish Draught and Irish Draught Sport Horse populations in North America. Each registration contributes to the long-term documentation of pedigrees, bloodlines, and breeding programs that support the future of these horses.

For those who are not currently members of the IDHSNA, the Birth Year Incentive also highlights one of the many advantages of membership. You are also welcome to submit the hard copy application found on that page and fees when submitting your registration packet. Please do not send cash!

Owners of 2026 foals are encouraged to begin the registration process as early as possible and take advantage of this limited-time opportunity before the November 15 deadline.
